It’s done! School got in the way for a while, but I finally set aside some time to finish this. Find out more about the MEG THE WORLD game here if you haven’t already, then play it here and enjoy!
Tip: If you want to follow along on this page while playing the game, the trick is to hold the arrow key down while simultaneously clicking away onto another tab so you won’t die. When you want to resume the game, click back over to the game, then hold the arrow key down again before pressing the down arrow to continue.
Big thanks to kyarychan for all her help!

Continuing the promotion of her upcoming MEG and MEG ZOMBIES singles (to be released on June 5th), MEG revealed the online game MEG THE WORLD today. Humorously touted as “what might be the world’s longest sideways-running RPG,” MEG wrote on her Twitter that upon clearing the game, fans will be able to understand the world of her new songs.
As well, an 8-bit version of the MEG ZOMBIES track “KISS OR BITE” is used prominently as background music. The full song was produced by TeddyLoid and will feature NARASAKI as a guitarist. So far, only the first stage is available to play, but there are three in total, and Natalie.mu has reported that the next stages will include more songs off the two singles.
Check it out for yourself at megtheworld.jp, and I’ll post a translation of the first stage here shortly!

By now, everyone knows about the mysterious MEG single announcement from several days ago (or I’m guessing you all do, since this post is so late?). Just in case there’s still confusion, though, I wanted to clear some of the details up.
This single is being released in two formats: one as MEG, and one as MEG ZOMBIES. Each of these contains different songs. The MEG + MEG ZOMBIES limited edition is both of those packaged as a special set, so while we still don’t know anything concrete about either of these releases, if you want the best of both, get that one! Besides, do MEG’s limited editions ever disappoint?
Like I mentioned in my last post, I do hope to keep up with this blog as much as possible, but I won’t always be able to update with news exactly as it breaks — so if you have new information to share, please feel free to let me know about it through my ask and submit pages!

At present, MEG’s image has disappeared from the menu bar of her official site, Twitter profile (@_x_MEG_x_), and label site, leaving mysterious footprints in its place.
Until now, MEG’s photo had been displayed on each of these sites, but currently, only a set of green footprints appears on every one. A few days ago, she tweeted, “I’ve absconded!” This connection remains a point of interest.
Furthermore, MEG will be taking part in the Shibuya and Harajuku joint fashion project “SHIBUYA HARAJUKU EVA PROJECT Vol. 2” starting April 24th. In accordance with the DVD and Blu-Ray release of Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, she will be designing an Evangelion collaboration one-piece dress which is currently in the works.

So… MEG disappeared and so did I, kind of. I’ve been gone for almost five months! It’s a wonder I still have followers. :x There were a lot of reasons I stopped posting (mostly personal, some quite ridiculous), but I’ve really missed this blog and I want to come back. I’ll try to stay on top of things as much as I can, even if I’m not able to update too much.
Anyway, enjoy the weird viral marketing for her upcoming single!
