“Thank you for all of your love last night! I’m home!”
“It’s going to be Father’s Day soon. My mother sent me this picture I drew of my father at about three years old. I do have memories of him shaving his beard, but his hair was perfectly normal! What in the world, self!”
“The editor-in-chief of a certain magazine brought his recorder looking like this.”
“I switched to more low-key nails.”
So this happened.
To make a long story short, my friend Pedro (who you should all follow!) mentioned the clip of “Hijitsuzai Boy” I posted here not long ago on Twitter and RAM RIDER found the tweet and wondered where the preview had come from, since he’s been more or less keeping the song a secret. I was feeling a little silly and decided to link him to the preview on this blog, then he asked me “Who did it?” in English and I told him I recorded it from HMV’s site and uploaded it myself. Then he tweeted this… and then MEG herself RTed it.
MEG HAS SEEN THIS BLOG.
For anyone who wants to know, he wrote, “A fan of MEG from overseas is really quick with a lot of things. She seems to have extracted this from HMV. You can preview ‘Hijitsuzai Boy’ on Tumblr. Surprising.” He also let me know a little later that MEG had RTed it and he was glad for my sake. :D He mentioned wanting to upload a longer preview of the song to YouTube, so look out for that soon!
To be honest, getting that sample was a lot of work, but so worth it now. ;_; Thanks to RAM RIDER and MEG for making my day! Thanks to all my followers new and old, too!
And getting songwriting help on Twitter while she’s at it:
☆+ MEG +。o♡゜ (_x_MEG_x_) “About to write the lyrics to my new song. For some reason, I’m looking for words that feel kind of purple-y.”
RAM RIDER (RAM_RIDER) “@_x_MEG_x_ ‘Like the color of the afro / of the lady who / I always pass by at the same time’ Here, you can use this.”
Well, I’m sold.
“Me being inordinately shy with his hand around my waist American-style.”
“They came from LA.”
MEG being interviewed for overseas media!
“I messed up on Facebook…”
In a conversation she was having on Facebook, she wrote, “The other day, I went to see Hatsune Mitsu live~! It was amazing~!” Then she corrected herself: “I mean Miku! I made her sound like a grandma with that name! lol” I think it’s considered to be kind of an old-fashioned name now, hahaha.
“White is my absolute favorite.”
